ABOUT YOUNG
YOUNG takes its name from the Thai word Yang, meaning grilled — a fitting reflection of our approach to modern Thai dining, where the flavours of the grill take centre stage.
Founded by Chef Yohans Gozal alongside Kevin Rumantir, Jenda Badilangoe and Sashia Rosari of Honu Group, YOUNG brings together a shared passion for Thai cuisine and thoughtful hospitality.
We opened our doors in August 2024 in South Jakarta, celebrating the Thai Samrub tradition of shared dining through a contemporary lens. Our menus explore lesser-known regional Thai flavours, evolving with each new volume to offer a fresh perspective while staying rooted in the classics.
At the heart of YOUNG is our commitment to the grill, complemented by a selection of signature cocktails designed to bring a little more character to the table.
